connecting modern creativity with timeless tradition
BrianneMcMullanEvents-68 (1).jpg

Hi there! I'm Brianne.

let's sit a spell & get to know each other.

A few years into helming a classroom full of kindergarteners, it hit me like good rose-filled centerpiece scent does: my passion for logistics, relationships, and all things pretty were leading me elsewhere.

Since I started planning professionally in 2014, I’ve been hooked and I haven't looked back. With nods from Aisle Planner, The Knot, Southern Living, Southern Weddings (Best Event Planner in the South nominee!), and more, our brides have magazine-worthy weddings that are both timeless in their tradition and timely in their modern twists … and yes, I’ll likely still be the one cheesing over your first dance or father-daughter dance—I’ve sent 50+ brides down the aisle, and I still couldn’t imagine loving a job any more than I love mine!

How to describe the wedding planning experience with Brianne in one word: flawless. When my fiancé (now husband) and I started planning our wedding, my mother suggested we hire a wedding planner. I thought to myself “I don’t need a wedding planner, how hard can it be?” Let me tell you right now. You need a wedding planner, and you need Brianne... She and her team had planned everything down to who was carrying my lipstick around for retouches. If you are looking for a well-organized, detail oriented, energetic and caring person (and team) definitely go with Brianne McMullan Events!

Rosé cheers to being ...

Let me introduce you to

my right hand gals.

Mindy Headshots for BME-0012.jpg

Associate Planner

Described by our former brides (and one mother of the bride!) as “especially helpful,” the “MVP,” and “my day of bestie,” Mindy is someone you would be lucky to have by your side during the planning process and especially on your big day. With a background in finance (music to your budget conscious ears!) and a natural talent for anticipating couples needs, Mindy joined the BME team in 2017 and has been essential to our couples since her first wedding!

When she isn’t creating the best planning spreadsheets and dreaming up gorgeous designs for our couples, Mindy enjoys shopping and trying new restaurants with her family and friends, binge watching tv shows with her hubby and cute pup, Dexter, and cheering on UT (Go Vols!). Oh, and Mexican food. If you love queso and margaritas, Mindy is your gal!

Thank you for helping me carry my dress (and my shoes since my feet were killing), for always having a tissue or a bobby pin handy, for fanning me when I was sweating my dress off, and for sacrificing your water bottle not once but twice! Pretty sure if I asked her to peel grapes and hand feed them to me, she would have! #mindyforthewin #dayofcoordinatorsareamust

Associate Planner

Hanna brings 10 years of event experience to the BME team. She has dabbled in everything from wedding hair and makeup, to catering and DJ services! For the past few years, she has found her groove coordinating weddings and events in numerous markets, including Pennsylvania, Michigan, Kentucky, the Carolinas, and now Georgia. She is a self proclaimed problem solver who uses her background in communications and public relations to excel in working with our BME clients and vendor partners. It is her heart for marriage, however that makes her such an asset to our couples during their engagements and on wedding day!

When Hanna isn’t sending our couples down the aisle, she is busy enjoying the outdoors with her husband and son, playing sports and spending time with her church family, and preparing to welcome baby #2 in August!

My daughter got married this summer and Hanna Newlin was our Wedding Coordinator Extraordinaire! Her personality and talents are well suited for this. She is organized, quick, and can easily adapt to rapid changes to “unforeseen” events. She has this amazing talent of moving things along and you don’t even know she’s doing it because of her gentle, patient nature and great sense of humor. She knows exactly what to say and when to say it, she knows how to calm nerves, and she even effortlessly navigated our family “rifts” during photos. She has an amazing positive energy and is always cheerful. You get a sense that Hanna has done this her whole life. She lifted so much responsibility and stress from my shoulders (as mother of the bride) and made the day one of the most memorable and enjoyable experiences. Thank you, Hanna!

Event Producer

After planning her own destination wedding in Charleston and being the go-to resource for her friends who were getting married or having showers and parties, Meagan decided that her excitement for weddings and entertaining was calling her to the events industry, and we are so glad she did! She is a registered nurse, and her experience working in the emergency department has made her a compassionate, caring, and patient person, who also remains calm and focused under pressure. She loves an outdoor wedding (even in the rain!) and has a soft spot for the mother and son dance!

When Meagan isn’t tending to our sweet couples, she can be found shopping (one of her favorite pastimes!) or snuggling her French Bulldog, Dallas, and her sweet kitty, Graham. She and her husband are preparing to welcome their first baby boy in September!

BME Ashley Headshots-0006.jpg

Event Producer

Ashley is the first person her engaged friends call when they need planning advice, and she loves to organize client events, meetings, conferences, and company parties at her day job. After her own wedding in 2018, she decided she hadn’t had enough, and is now helping serve our BME clients. Her favorite part of a wedding day is a toss up between seeing the bride in her full get-up and the big room reveal (both really never get old)! She is drawn to a classic, timeless, and traditional ballroom fête - the kind that you can look back on in 50 years and love just the same. But don’t let her preference for a traditional, ballroom wedding fool you--to quote the movie Talladega Nights: “I want to be formal, but I'm here to party!” Her ideal wedding consists of a classic, 5-tier, buttercream cake followed by confetti cannons on the dance floor at the end of the night.

When Ashley isn’t planning weddings, you can find her at one of the many fun workout studios in Atlanta, going on walks with the hubs (still considered a newlywed!), and coaching in the 12 and under age group at a local volleyball club.

Now that we know each other better, let's talk weddings.
